Drumabest

Circa 700 BC

A pair of Bronze Age instruments from Drumbest, Co. Antrim. Two of an original find of four instruments. They are in very good condition. The end blown trumpet example is relatively rare in that it survives complete with the mouthpiece.  The side-blown horn (adharc) is in good condition.  These were the first pair to be reproduced in 1988. They are on display in The Ulster Museum in Belfast.
